The MTG Neon Dynasty is set to release two Dimir Ninja Decks. The Dimir decks, whether Standard, Pioneer or Historic, have previously been control based. Recently there has been a standard format where Dimir Rogues become very popular, meaning there is a potential for a tempo-based Dimir deck. The Dimir deck is boosted by the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.
In the neon Dynasty, there are many Ninjas but not in the Dimir colours. This is built around the ninjutsu mechanic that emphasises cheap evasive creatures that you don’t mind bouncing to your hand and powerful effects. Building around ninjutsu can be very hard. The Neon Dynasty has creatures that fill these requirements quite well.
A quick look at the MTG Arena
The MTG Arena, also known as Magic: The Gathering Arena, is a free to play digital collectable card game. The game was developed and published by Wizards of the Coast(WotC). This digital adaptation based on the Magic MTG card game allows players to gain cards through booster packs.
MTG is also known to have some of the best coinflip game cards. The MTG Arena follows the same rules as most card games, where players use decks of cards to create five different colours of mana and play cards that consume the mana. This summons the creatures that cast offensive and defensive spells to activate effects and abilities. Players usually battle against each other on a selected deck to reduce the other player's life to zero.
The latest from MTG Neon
Kamigawa is an MTG plane that is set to return on February 18 with some of the best cards from the Neon Dynasty. The Kamigawa block was the first release in 2004 that didn’t receive the best reception. Kamigawa is centred around the world of samurai, dragons and ninjas. The new mechanic for this Neon Dynasty is called reconfigure and some returning mechanics such as ninjutsu and channel.
The set guarantees cool designs and amazing MTG cards that you could easily add to your favourite deck. Besides the mech suits, another exciting feature about the Kamigawa Neon Dynasty is the powering up of white. White has been very difficult to incorporate, unlike the mana colours of Magic: The Gathering. This deck could have fewer cards in the colour white than the usual quantity.
Here are a few cards that you will find in the new deck:
- The Wandering Emperor
- Blade of the Oni
- Lion Sash
- Reality Heist.
- Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice.
- Kumano Faces Kakkazan
- Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant.
- Boseiju, Who Endures.
- Soul Transfer
