Early Release of Guilds of Ravnica in MTGA

You can try Ravnica’s Guilds on September 27, two days before playing in stores. The complete collection will be available when the game is enabled again, so you can buy envelopes, participate in events and play in Standard with Ravnica Guilds.

And you can check out cards from the new set already, using our deckbuilder!

The great novelty is the SEALED DECK FORMAT format. This is a great format if you look forward to the excitement of checking out new cards and playing without being required to bring your own pre-built deck. Unlike constructed games—where you arrive with your strategically created deck—in a sealed deck tournament, you build a new deck from six unopened booster packs at the start of the event. The guidelines require that you build a minimum deck size of 40 cards, but you can add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) as you’d like, even if they weren’t in the booster packs you opened. If you’re looking for a fun way to boost the size of your card collection while playing the game, sealed deck is the way to go.

Get ready for the weekend of the Presentation at MTG Arena events . With your entry to a SEALED DECK FORMAT event, you will receive six envelopes to open them and build a deck with which to play against other people and test the collection for the first time. Same as in a Presentation.

But that is not all. We will also have a new battlefield with Ravnica theme, designed for those who have ever wanted to fight in the Tenth District. In addition, the new cards will come with never seen animations that will make the combat even more spectacular. The Magic games will soon give a more real feeling than ever, with details such as seeing the golgari trapping the foot of an Izzet magician with their tentacles while throwing lightning bolts desperately.

Keep in mind that, with the arrival of Ravnica Guilds , we will make the available cards in MTG Arenamatch those in Standard. When the open beta begins, you can get the following collections: Ixalan , Rivals of Ixalan , Dominaria , the Basic Collection 2019 and, of course, Ravnica Guilds . However, in the long run we intend to offer a format in MTG Arena that goes beyond rotations. Therefore, once we have decided how the rotation of collections will work next year, we will probably re-establish the previous collections in the system, which include Kaladesh ,The revolt of the ether , Amonkhet and The hour of devastation .
