MTG Arena Announcements, December 22, 2021

We’ve had a couple of updates and fixes ship recently. On Thursday of last week, the release included some bug fixes you can check out in the patch notes:

Notable Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a deckbuilder bug that caused clicking/tapping on styled versions of rebalanced cards to add the normal (not rebalanced) version to a deck
  • Fixed several bugs that could prevent direct challenge matches from connecting properly
  • Fixed a bug where cards that would seek lands and put them directly on the battlefield would leave a noninteractive duplicate of the land in the player’s hand
  • Fixed a bug that prevented perpetual cost reductions from applying to spells cast for their foretell cost
  • Fixed a bug where Sigardian Paladin did not properly get +1/+1, Trample, and Lifelink when a creature entered with a +1/+1 counter
  • Fixed a bug around how Savior of Ollenbock interacted with the persistent effect from Brittle Blast
  • Fixed a bug that caused the cost reduction of Winged Words to be calculated incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug where attempting to create a token copy of a class or saga card with depth art could cause a hang
  • Fixed a bug where Conspicuous Snoop could cause a crash alongside effects that shuffle the library
  • Fixed a bug that caused the art for (most) Clue tokens to get Totally Lost
  • Fixed a bug that caused events to still show up in the playblade after they were closed to new entries
  • Fixed a bug where some languages were inappropriately showing English text for some Alchemy-related crafting messages
  • Fixed the tooltip on the Gold currency display so it shows real, helpful text rather than placeholder
  • Fixed a bug on mobile that prevented the full list of tokens from showing when you tapped on them
  • Fixed a bug that caused special event tokens (like a Day 2 Arena Open token) to still show up after they had been used for the event
  • Fixed a bug around how Savior of Ollenbock interacted with the persistent effect from Brittle Blast
  • Fixed a bug around the trigger for Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia
